The Solar Shield Strip plastic base is manufactured from UV stabilised clear polycarbonate and the pins from 304 grade stainless steel. Pins are adjustable from a height of 140mm (minimum) to 190mm (maximum) and have a diameter of approx. 2mm. The base is approx. 610mm in length and is easily cut to size with snips.
This unique solar panel shield provides a long-lasting proofing solution to prevent pigeons from gaining access underneath solar panels. Featuring individually adjustable pins (or spikes) to suit any roof shape. The Solar Shield features a unique base shape, these pins removes the need to trim excess pin as the top of the base sits flush with the top of the solar panel and the stainless steel pins sit below.
