AVERT* COCKROACH GEL BAIT

- The active constituent is a naturally occurring insect toxin abamectin. It has been synthesized. The toxin is produced by the soil bacterium. Streptomyces avermitilis.

- It is a powerful control agent - it works within a week
- The active abamectin has a dual action. It works as an insecticide and as an insect growth regulator upsetting nymphal growth, sexual maturity and egg laying. It will not cause insecticide resistance. This is documented in the Avert manual
- Avert works by attracting cockroaches to feed on the gel. They feed then return to their harbourage. The cockroaches then die and infect other cockroaches. Avert is highly attractive to cockroaches
- The advanced formula of Avert is hydroscopic. It takes in water and remains moist and highly palatable to cockroaches for many weeks
- • If spots of bait are still visible then additional placements are not necessary on follow up services in hole areas
- 3 - 5g of gel bait is sufficient to treat a house
